Accommodation Support Services

Accommodation Support Services are provided to adults over the age of 18 who have physical, intellectual, sensory, psychiatric and/or multiple disabilities.

Areas of support include engaging in wider community life, personal care, management of household tasks and accessing education, training and employment opportunities. Services are responsive to the needs of each person and are flexible as needs arise or change.

How to Access a Service

Individuals aged between 18 and 65 in receipt of a Disability Services (Queensland) Lifestyle Support Package are supported.

Where an individual is not eligible to receive government funding user-pay options may be available. Initial contact can be made with Centacare via self-referral, other service referral, health or allied health referral or DS referral. Your information will be taken and forwarded to the client intake officer who will make contact with you to begin discussion about the possibilities of receiving support.

If Centacare is unable to provide a service to you, you will be given information regarding other service providers who may be able to provide a service to you.
