Centacare Catholic Family and Community Services giving caring grandparents time out
In planning your estate it is only natural to think of people and organisations that have played a significant role in your life. Centacare Brisbane offers the opportunity to leave a gift in your Will that will last in perpetuity and always be remembered.
Making your Will is relatively simple. All you need to do is list your assets and liabilities and then visit a solicitor, or alternatively a public trustee.
Simply instruct your solicitor to include a bequest to Centacare Brisbane in your Will. Bequests can be made for a particular amount, a percentage of your estate or the residue of the estate after debts, taxes and specific legacies have been paid.
When making a bequest it is important that you instruct your solicitor to use the correct form and terminology. To leave a bequest to Centacare Brisbane just use the following words:
"I give and bequeath ........................ to Centacare Brisbane as part of the Corporation of the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane for the use and benefit of the Religious, Charitable and/or Educational purposes of the Archdiocese of Brisbane, 143 Edward Street, Brisbane, Queensland."
You can still leave a gift to Centacare Brisbane by instructing your solicitor to include an amendment to your existing Will which simply states you would like to remember the organisation in this way.
