Centacare's HIV/AIDS support service is helping to combat the spread of this deadly disease by awareness raising among our youth.

Shiloh, whose name is a Hebrew word that means "a place of listening", has taken its message about the risk factors in contracting this immune depleting disease to more than 220,000 Australians, mostly senior secondary students in Brisbane and Sydney.

The service presents information sessions by invitation in private, public and Catholic schools providing insights about methods of transmission, testing and treatments for HIV/AIDS.
