Northside Services is based on the north side of Brisbane.

The office Northside Disability Services commenced in 1989 with the provision of services for 15 people who lived in their own accommodation in the northwest suburbs of Brisbane with a financial grant from the Commonwealth Government. Over the ensuing years the services have expanded to provide in-home assistance to 73 people with a variety of support needs.

The services aim to be responsive to the individual needs of each person and maintain flexibility to be able to respond as needs arise or change. Assistance provided includes:

• Personal care
• Assistance with day-to-day management of household tasks
• Financial management
• Facilitation and support for socialisation, education and recreation
• Social interaction within the community
• Facilitation of relationships with families and friends
• Community Access

Support areas listed in disability support are identified with location, that is, Northside services or Southside services.
